For this cake I have applied the Spring mesh stencil and have used Italian meringue buttercream on Italian meringue buttercream to achieve this effect.
This mesh stencils are super easy to use!
I started by chilling my cake and making sure it was firm.
Then I placed mesh stencil around the cake and used a palette knife with a bit of Italian buttercream on it I spread it all over the stencil.
Lastly I used plastic/metal scraper to smooth it out. Then voila!!
The most important tips:
1. Make sure your cake is chilled and firm.
2.Apply just enough buttercream to cover the stencil.
3. Scrap extra buttercream on the stencil.
4. Slowly remove stencil from one side.
4 tips then you will have an amazing looking cake with spring stencil!!
This cake was my first attempt with the Spring mesh stencil and achieved by following the 4 easy steps.
