Silicone moulds are an easy and creative way to add detailed elements to your cakes, cookies and cupcakes.
They work perfectly with fondant, flower paste, modelling paste, chocolate, isomalt, clay and more.
For best use lightly dust the insides of the mould with some cornflour, this will ensure easy release. Simply press a small amount of paste into the mould cavity. Roll gently over the silicone mould and remove excess paste with a blade tool or knife. Turn mold over and gently peel the mould away.
– When cutting away excess paste from the mould be sure to cut horizontally to ensure you don’t cut into the mould
– Add some tylose to your fondant to harden it slightly
