Mesh Stencilling: SWISS MERINGUE BUTTERCREAM ON SWISS MERINGUE BUTTERCREAM

The mesh stencils couldn’t be any easier to use! For this cake I have used the Spring mesh stencil and used a bright colour to allow the intricate design to pop.

I started by chilling my cake to ensure it was firm and placed the stencil around my cake. Then using a palette knife I applied some Swiss meringue buttercream over the stencil. I then went over it with metal scraper to smooth it out. It’s as easy as that!

Most important tip of all is ensuring your cake is well set before using the stencil. The grip of the mesh stencil is amazing and super easy to work with.
